Stoke and Barnsley have been hit with heavy fines after players and officials clashed earlier this month.

The Potters have been fined £10,000 and the Tykes £8,000 by the Football Association.

Tempers flared in injury time of the 1-1 Sky Bet Championship draw with Stoke coaches Dean Holden and Rory Delap and Reds assistant Joseph Laumann sent off following a touchline brawl between staff and players.

Tykes coaches Tonda Eckert and Laumann have also been given fines of £2,750 and £2,500 each and banned from the touchline for three and two games respectively.

Stoke assistant manger Holden and coach Delap have been suspended from the touchline for one game and fined £2,000 and £1,800 respectively.

Both clubs admitted they failed to ensure their players and club officials conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and refrained from provocative behaviour during the 90th minute of the game.
