Aston Villa 0-0 Sheffield United

45 min: Two minutes added on at the end of this half. We haven’t seen a VAR-style angle of that incident yet, but I think all 200+ people in the ground thought it was in.

Aston Villa 0-0 Sheffield United

43 min: Goal? Yes? No? This is bizarre.

Nyland fumbles a corner and appears to carry the ball over the line and past the post.

But Michael Oliver looks at his watch and says no goal. Very odd. That certainly looked behind the line.

Man City v Arsenal

Little going forward, though.

Aston Villa 0-0 Sheffield United

37 min: Booking: Another player goes in Michael Oliver’s book as John Lundstram is cautioned for stopping a quick free-kick.

Thought for a minute he was booked earlier but apparently that was Douglas Luiz. Think even the cameraman got a little confused with that one.

Aston Villa 0-0 Sheffield United

35 min: Back to the game. Grealish has won a free-kick on the half-way line. Clattered by Baldock.

‘WE’RE NOT REALLY HERE’

All Premier League grounds are broadcasting the message ‘We’re not really here’ outside their stadiums in a bid to deter fans from gathering at the grounds.

Very important for people to respect that if the season is going to be completed without a hitch.

The corner comes in but it’s claimed at the second attempt by keeper Nyland. We go again.

27 min: Booking: Douglas Luiz goes in the book for a late challenge. That’s the biggest moment of the last ten minutes really.

26 min: We’ve had our first water break! Premier League players will now have water breaks mid-way through each half.

The ‘firsts’ keep coming here today.
