Madness. Apparently the Hawkeye wasn’t working.

52 min: Chance! Davis fires in a shot after a lovely ball over the top from Targett. He strikes it low towards the near post but Henderson does excellently to punch away with a strong hand.

Best chance of the game for Villa.

In the mood for a song?

Does he know Blue Moon?

Still awaiting a real golden chance.

Unconfirmed reports that Hawkeye is not working. Apparently the system failed to give the goal. Incredible if that is the case.

Hmmm…I’ve seen a number of replays now and it still looks like the ball was over the line.

Have the people at Stockley Park been told the Premier League is back?

HALF-TIME: Aston Villa 0-0 Sheffield United

Well, very little to speak of until just a couple of minutes before half-time. Villa keeper Orjan Nyland appeared to carry the ball over his own line, but the goal line technology failed to give the goal.

Even the players seem in some bemusement. Surely that was a goal? He carried it behind the post.
