Olympic road events will still take place in Sapporo instead of Tokyo at postponed Games
All Olympic road events including race walks and marathons at next year's re-arranged Games will still be held in Sapporo and not Tokyo.
The decision to move them because of the heat in Tokyo had already been made ahead of this summer, but now the International Olympic Committee has said the arrangements will remain the same for next year, Athletics Weekly reports.
IOC sports director Kit McConnell said: "The session schedule and competition schedule across the Games remains in place.
"Obviously there may have to ultimately be some adaptations to that, as we work through all of the necessary adjustments. But the competition schedule remains in place and that includes Sapporo."
