England rugby stars Ellis Genge and Lewis Ludlam mistaken for each other yet again - as another website uses the wrong picture

England rugby stars Ellis Genge and Lewis Ludlam have been mistaken for each other once again.

BT Sport’s website ran a story on three players, including Genge, re-signing for Leicester Tigers. But they used a picture of Ludlam instead, who plays for Northampton Saints.

Genge picked up on the story and tweeted: "So happy to see you’ve signed a few at tigers mate @LewisLudlam big call from you!"

To which Ludlam replied with a meme and the caption: “Ah s**t here we go again”

Genge then went on to retweet a fan who took a screenshot of the article later on, which had a different image.

The new picture simply featured the other two players, both white, who had re-signed for the Premiership club - George Ford and Ben Youngs.

The fan wrote: “BT journos ‘ah how do we fix this?’ Other BT journos ‘Simple, just remove him and keep Ford and Youngs’”

Ludlam plays for Northampton but his picture was used in the Leicester line-up (PA)

This is not the first time the two players have been mixed up.

The BBC apologised last month after they used a picture of Ludlam to illustrate an article about Genge.

At the time Genge tweeted: "I’m actually  f****d off with this happening to every mixed race/black sportsperson. Must be the 15th time in less than a year just between me and @LewisLudlam.”
