Ajax youngster Donny van de Beek has caught the eye of plenty of European giants following his stellar 2019 with the Dutch club.

The 22 year-old midfielder scored 17 times last season and is already into double figures for this campaign, leading Ajax to the top of the Eredivisie table before the coronavirus pandemic.

But now his future at the club looks in doubt as clubs such as Manchester United and Real Madrid are reportedly interested in acquiring him, with Van de Beek's agent refusing to deny the links.

As reported by Tribal Football, agent Guido Albers told Voetbal International: "What's going to happen to Donny? Nobody knows at the moment.

"The interest, that is known, has been there from several clubs for a long time. We will see what will come out in the coming weeks. I dare not say anything about it and can not say anything about it, also because some things are confidential.

"The situation per club will have changed and we have to look closely at that."
