Zenit St Petersburg winger Malcom has been crowned the Russian Premier League Player of the Month for March.

However, he received the award in an unprecedented way as due to the coronavirus forcing people to stay inside the Brazilian was given the trophy via a drone flying in through his window.

After missing six months of the season because of a hip injury, the 23-year-old returned at the end of February and impressed straight away, particularly shining in a 7-1 victory over Ural where he scored one and assisted another.

Speaking about receiving the award via drone, Malcom said: "It's powerful! I'd like to thank all Zenit fans. Thanks for voting for me. I am very happy. Stay home. It's important."
