A look at the stellar line-up for the Indoor Athletics Grand Prix in Glasgow: Heptathlete Katarina Johnson-Thompson, sprinter Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and 1500m runner Jemma Reekie

Heptathlete Katarina Johnson-Thompson, sprinter Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and British mile record holder Jemma Reekie are all set to feature in the Indoor Grand Prix in Glasgow this weekend.

The event, which is part of the World Athletics Indoor Tour, will see the star athletes aiming to start their Tokyo 2020 Olympic year off successfully.

And the Scottish-based competition has been of high demand, with tickets now sold-out.

Britain's world champion Johnson-Thompson is set to headline the event as a part of a series events she will take part in as well as the Anniversary Games in July and the Müller Grand Prix Gateshead in August.

In the sprint events, Jamaican Fraser-Pryce will go head-to-head with Murielle Ahoure in the 60m.

Nine-time world champion Fraser-Pryce is currently joint fifth quickest in 60m history with a time of 6.98 seconds.

And Ivorian Ahoure's personal best time of 6.97 in 2018 means it promises to be an exciting two-horse race.

Moving onto the middle-distance events and the four-time indoor European champion Muir confirmed her attendance for the event way back in November.

And the 26-year-old Scot will be looking to break the 1000m record on home turf in front of a home crowd.

Elsewhere, compatriot Jemma Reekie is set to be one-to-watch after she recently broke three British records in the 800m, 1500m and the mile.

USA's Nia Ali will compete in the 60m hurdles off the back of her first 100m hurdles world title in Doha.

In the field events, the high jump will see Britain's Morgan Lake and Nikki Manson take on Ukraine's Yaroslava Mahuchikh.

The 18 year-old will enter the event with confidence after she cleared 2.02m and set a new world Under-20 indoor record in the process.

This won't put Lake or Manson off though as they have started their year's in good form, clearing 1.90m and 1.93m respectively.

The event will take place at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow on February 15.
