Jamaicas's speed queen Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has announced that she will not only be defending her 100m Olympic title in Tokyo but also has her sights set on the 200m.

The mother-of-one, who turns 33 on Friday, recently claimed the 100m title at the IAAF World Championships in Doha ahead of Britain's Dina Asher-Smith, who came in second but triumphed in the 200m.

Tokyo will be the pocket rocket's final games as she focuses on motherhood and the business she has set up with husband, Jason.

She said: "I will be doubling up [100m and 200m] definitely.

"Last year I really wanted to attempt the double but my coach had other plans so I just worked with that plan. He knows best."

Fraser-Pryce has never won a gold medal at an Olympic games, with her best finish being a silver behind America's Allyson Felix. She did, however, triumph in the event at the Pan American Games this year and also boasts an impressive CV of six Olympic and 11 World Championship medals.

She now has her eyes set on two Tokyo golds to mark her Olympic swansong. Her greatest challenge will come from Asher-Smith who has already proven her class winning the 200m title in Doha. This will be one race that could be too close to call.
