Birmingham City captain Kerys Harrop set to leave club

The 29 year-old spent 20 years at the club and worked her way through the ranks in the academy before she made her first team debut at 15.

She made 194 appearances and spent ten seasons with the Blues.

Harrop was part of the side that were runners-up during the Women’s Super League 2011 and 2012 seasons.

She wrote on Twitter: "From the bottom of my heart thank you @BCFCwomen for the memories in the last 20 years.

“I have been gifted with many amazing opportunities due to being a part of this club and it is something I will forever be grateful for. It is not goodbye, it is see you later.”

Harrop won the FA Women’s Cup final in 2012 and also captained the side in the 2017 final at Wembley against Manchester City.
