Cherrelle Brown calls on Eddie Hearn to stop 'ignoring' her and give her a chance on a Matchroom Boxing show

British boxer Cherrelle Brown has told promoter Eddie Hearn to stop 'ignoring' her and give her a chance to shine on one of his shows.

The 33 year-old is undefeated in six professional fights, but has campaigned predominantly at York Hall on the smaller, untelevised circuit.

And Brown is now looking to earn her shot on a mainstream show with Hearn's Matchroom Boxing, who manage fighters that compete on Sky Sports in the UK and on DAZN in the US.

Speaking on Twitter, the Islington boxer said: "Mr Hearn, I've met you once and I know you must of heard my name popping up in the background.

"For some reason no matter how much I reach out or other do for me. You are ignoring me or not taking notice. Please give me and my team a shot. Put me on one of your @matchroom shows.

"I am a four time national champion and England representative over 7 times. I am the current WBC International Champion. Anyone in boxing knows in England you're the guy. Please me and my team at least one time to shine."

Hearn has brought many women's boxers through the pro ranks and recently announced a stacked card in Doncaster on April 24.

It will feature Chantelle Cameron, Shannon Courtenay and a headline women's world title bout between Terri Harper and Natasha Jonas.

Then there is more women's boxing action on May 2 when Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano do battle at the Manchester Arena in a huge, mouth-watering clash.
