Billie Jean King has joked about cricket with former cricketer and current world No 1 tennis player Ashleigh Barty.

BJK was larking around a day before the start of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup as she asked Barty for playing tips.

Barty played in the Women's Big Bash for Brisbane Heat and later Queensland Fire in a hiatus from tennis in the 2015/16 season.

Since returning to tennis she has risen to become world No 1 and has won the French Open.

BJK took to Twitter to ask Barty for cricket advice.

She wrote: "Less than 24 hours until the start of the @icc @T20WorldCup in Melbourne, & I’m getting in some last-minute practice. @ashbarty , any tips you can share to improve my game?"
