Australian cyclist Tiffany Cromwell posts picture with Valtteri Bottas just months after F1 star's split from wife

Australian cyclist Tiffany Cromwell and Formula One driver Valtteri Bottas have split social media opinion after announcing their relationship only four months after Bottas split from his wife.

On Valentine's day, 31-year-old Tiffany, who rides for Australian Women’s WorldTeam Canyon-SRAM, posted a snap of the pair kissing with the message: "Happy Valentines Day to this amazing human being who completely understands me and always knows how to make me smile.

"So lucky to have found you. Can’t wait for all the adventures to come.

"And to whom it may concern ... We’re happy and that’s all that matters to us."

The pair had previously been rumoured to have partnered up when they were seen on holiday in South Africa in January.

Taking to Instagram, the Finnish driver uploaded a photo of the couple in 'millionaire’s playground' in Monaco accompanied by the caption: "Haters gonna hate."

But fans on social media have been quick to criticise Bottas' rapid rebound from his divorce.

One follower wrote: "Well you moved on quick," while another added: "Fast moving in many different ways lol."

However, there were some fans who praised the couple's new relationship.

One said: "So happy for you, Valtteri. Good luck for both of you" accompanied with an emoji with a halo.

Another added: "Great stuff - you look great together. Live life to the fullest."

The driver split from his ex-wife Emilia in November 2019, announcing the news to his 552,000 Twitter followers with a lengthy statement explaining the situation and assuring them they would remain friends.
