Lorena Wiebes wins second stage in a row to take overall lead at Boels Ladies Tour

Lorena Wiebes won her second stage in a row at the Boels Ladies Tour to take the lead in the overall classification.

The Dutch woman dominated the bunch sprint yet again as she added to her impressive list of victories already this season.

In a very flat and very fast run in the Parkhotel Valkenburg rider won by more than a bike length from Kirsten Wild and Lucinda Brand.

As a result of the time bonuses Wiebes has accumulated over the past two days, she has moved into the lead in the general classification, taking the jersey from Annemiek Van Vleuten.

Stage three is a rolling, undulating day and sees the peloton tackle the longest route in this year's race, starting and finishing in Nijverdal.

It is a total of 156.8 kilometres and should see Wiebes and her rival sprinters safely navigate the course to once again battle it out in the sprint.
