Tahnee Seagrave wins Mountain Bike silver on return from injury
Great Britain's Tahnee Seagrave returned to competition in emphatic style claiming silver in the women's downhill at the Mountain Bike World Championships in Canada.
The 24-year old was making her competitive return following shoulder surgery four months ago following an injury.
The young Brit finished 1.204 seconds behind Frances's Myrian Nicole who came home in a time of 53.226 seconds. Her French compatriot Marine Cabirou completed the podium places finishing 1.694 seconds off the lead to claim third place.
The silver medal adds to her ever-growing collection after the Croydon-born rider claimed silver at the world championships in Switzerland in 2018.
