Darts player Fallon Sherrock has said she has had to call on her family to help her as she is in the 'high risk category' for coronavirus.

Sherrock, who made her name at the Darts World Championships in December, has a kidney condition.

She told The Telegraph: “I’m in the high-risk category [for coronavirus]. If I’ve needed to go to the shops, I’ve sent my mum or sister. 

"There was only one day where I had to go out. I was standing far away from other people, I had my scarf around my face, I looked really weird but I was so cautious."

Sherrock needs daily injections and medicine.

“The injections get delivered to my house so that’s not a problem. The pills will be pre-ordered by my doctor but then I’ll get my mum to collect them.”
