Ebony Salmon takes out contract extension to stay at WSL club Bristol City

Forward Ebony Salmon has enacted a clause in her contract to trigger a year’s extension on her deal at Bristol City.

Salmon joined the club last summer from Manchester United and was top scorer with eight goals across all competitions.

The Robins’ manager, Tanya Oxtoby, said: “Ebony is another one of our young English players who has gone from strength to strength working within our environment and getting much valued WSL game time this year.

“She has had some stellar performances this season, and we are delighted to be able to continue to work with her next season to help her reach her potential.”

This comes after City re-signed established midfielder Carla Humphrey on a two-year extended deal this week.
