Arsenal and Switzerland midfielder Lia Walti is out of action for the foreseeable future with a hamstring injury.

The news was revealed by the club on Twitter that the 26 year-old, who joined the Gunners in 2018, would be sidelined but hopefully be available for selection later in the season.

Arsenal currently sit third in the Women's Super League and having beaten Lewes FC 2-0 at the weekend are through to the FA Cup quarter-finals.

The side now turn their attention to the Continental Cup where they will come up against London rivals Chelsea at The City Ground on February 29.
