Brighton and Hove Albion secured a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace this evening to grab the last spot in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

The first half saw a stunning goal from Rianna Jarrett in the 14th minute on her debut for the club. She smashed one home from 25 yards out to put Albion in front.

Palace were forced to make an early substitution after Charlie Goad was injured in the 32nd minute and was replaced by Mia Lockett.

Going into the break only one goal separated the sides and so it was all still to play for.

Jarrett made sure it was a debut to remember as she scored again moments into the the second half to double Albion's lead.

Ini-Abasi Umotong added a third in the 69th to secure the victory.

Albion face Birmingham City in the quarter-finals on March 15.
