Bristol City boss Tanya Oxtoby says Birmingham match will be an 'opportunity to right some wrongs'

Bristol City manager Tanya Oxtoby has said their Women's Super League match this weekend will give them the chance to 'right some wrongs' after their humiliating FA Cup defeat on Monday.

City lost 5-0 to Everton at Ashton Gate but Oxtoby is keen to put that behind them.

“We’re really disappointed with the result from Monday night, it wasn’t really indicative of a Bristol City performance.

"We gave up and our shape wasn’t there and we let those who showed up to support us down, so we’ve worked really hard on this week to make sure that we’re in the best shape possible to go and get a result on Sunday.

“We’ve got to right some wrongs on Sunday and hopefully the girls can put in a performance that will get us three points."

Birmingham City v Bristol City kicks off on Sunday at 2pm.
