Chelsea's Magdalena Eriksson 'gutted' with Manchester City draw as WSL title race heats up

Chelsea player Magdalena Eriksson has said she is 'gutted' with her side's draw with Manchester City in the Women's Super League yesterday.

The two title contenders shared six goals in a thrilling match that ended 3-3, with Chelsea coming from behind twice to salvage a vital point.

But Emma Hayes' side were leading 3-2 with 15 minutes remaining before the hosts hit back to level, something which left Eriksson a disappointed that they couldn't come away with the win.

She said: "A bit gutted with the result but still a draw, still unbeaten in the league. I want to say a massive thank you to all the fans who travelled up we could hear your support and that means the world to us.

"I hope to see as many of you as possible at the Continental Cup final on Saturday in Nottingham."

Chelsea face Arsenal in the League Cup Final this Saturday at 5:30pm.
