England boss Phil Neville calls up Grace Fisk and Chloe Kelly to SheBelieves Cup squad

England manager Phil Neville has called up Grace Fisk and Chloe Kelly to his SheBelieves Cup squad.

West Ham defender Fisk has made 30 appearances for England at youth level and has also captained the U20 side to a World Cup bronze medal in 2018.

Kelly, also 22, is Everton's top goal scorer so far in the Women's Super League season, but has made just one appearance for the Lionesses.

The defending champions will face 2019 World Cup winners and hosts US, Japan and Spain next month in Orlando.

Youngsters including Lauren Hemp and Sandy Maclver have also been included in the squad.

Speaking about his squad, Neville said: "This is an exciting moment for the England Women’s team. With eight of our squad under the age of 23 and six of them having competed in the World Cup, we are focusing on developing the incredible young talent we have in the women’s game with a keen eye on EURO2021 in 16 months time.

"All of the young players who have been given their opportunity today have earned their places on merit, based on exceptional form and performances at club level as well as for England’s development teams, and I am delighted to be giving them all the opportunity they rightly deserve.

"Of course, we’ll continue to rely enormously on the world-class senior players who’ve been the mainstay of the England Women’s squad for many years.

"They know what it takes to succeed on the world stage and they can teach our younger players so much about the physical and mental standards required to compete at the very top level."

Stars of the team that made it to the semi-finals of the World Cup will also feature in Lucy Bronze, Steph Houghton, Nikita Parris and Ellen White.

The Lionesses will be without Arsenal's Beth Mead after she sustained an injury last weekend in the WSL.

England will begin their SheBelieves Cup campaign in Orlando against the USA on March 5.
