Everton's Danielle Turner says charitable sleep out at Goodison Park was 'humbling'
Everton player Danielle Turner has called the team's sleep-out at Goodison Park 'humbling'.
The entire team, alongside fans, slept overnight at the home of Everton football to raise money for homeless charities.
Turner documented the evening in a video diary.
Turner said the morning after sleeping on the concrete floor in the stands: "It's been a difficult and challenging night, not so much with the weather it wasn't too unkind, I think it was just the discomfort of the concrete floor.
"It's been a very humbling experience and all the girls made a great effort."
The side reached their £1,000 target and the total is still rising as their donation page is still open.
Everton will next play against Chelsea in their FA Cup quarter-final this Sunday.
