Glasgow City have announced the signing of Australian youth international Aoife Colvill ahead of the Scottish Women's Premier League season. 

The 19-year-old forward has joined from W League side Canberra United subject to international clearance.

Colvill is head coach Scott Booth's second signing of the season.

Speaking after putting pen to paper, Colvill said: "I'm super excited to be joining Glasgow City this season. I'm really looking forward to being a part of a club that has a fantastic female footballing history."

Booth added: "It's fantastic that we have been to strengthen our squad further with the signing of Aoife Colvill. 

"She is a young player with fantastic potential. Her hunger to progress is unquestionable given this move and we will do everything we can as a club to help her develop into the top player."
