Juventus Stadium to host 2022 Women's Champions League Final

The Juventus Stadium in Turin, Italy will host the 2022 Women's Champions League Final, UEFA has announced.

It has also been revealed that Eindhoven's PSV Stadium will be the host venue for the 2023 final.

Use of the Juventus ground will be the second time the biggest match in Women's European football has been played in Italy after Lyon and Wolfsburg battled it out at the Reggio Emilia's Stadio Città del Tricolore in 2016.

Since the stadium was opened in 2011, it has played host to the 2014 Europa League Final, while also welcoming an Italian record crowd of 39,027 to a league match between Juventus and Fiorentina.

However a sell-out crowd for the 2022 final would break that national record set in March 2019.

Meanwhile, PSV's 35,000 capacity stadium will welcome the 2023 final as it adds to its illustrious history of hosting major European games including the 1978 (second leg) and 2006 UEFA Cup Finals.

The ground also hosted three matches at Euro 2000, while its record crowd came in a 2018 World Cup qualifier against Northern Ireland when 30, 238 fans were in attendance.
