Manchester City forward Ellen White says WSL Chelsea match is the 'big one'

England and Manchester City player Ellen White has said her team's Women's Super League clash against Chelsea is 'the big one'.

City and The Blues are battling for the WSL title with the two teams only separated by one point at the top of the table.

White says the team are 'excited about the massive game'.

“To face Chelsea is a big one for us. It’s exciting for us and for the fans. It’s a massive game and hopefully it will put us in a good position.

“We’re putting as much hard work and preparation as we can into training. We won’t do anything too differently. We’ll just concentrate on ourselves as much as them.

“For us, it’s about doing the right things in training and recovery, analysing what we can to put us in a good place for the game.

“Home advantage is really important for us. We love playing at home at the Academy Stadium in front of our fans.

“Hopefully, we’ll put in a really big performance and continue our good run.”

Manchester City v Chelsea kicks off this Sunday at 2pm.
