Manchester City’s Tessa Wullaert leaves the club

Manchester City forward Tessa Wullaert has decided to leave the Women’s Super League club at the end of her contract.

She signed for City back in 2018 from German side Vfl Wolfsburg. She has since made 53 appearances across all competitions and scored ten goals.

Wullaert said on Twitter: "I decided to not extend my contract @ManCity, but thank you to everyone involved during the past 2 seasons.

“They have been good with lots of memories. However offcourse my journey continues and I’m even more excited for what’s ahead (so stay tuned Until we meet again. TW”

She follows Pauline Bremer in leaving the club. 

Bremer announced she would leave City in February and will join Vfl Wolfsburg next season.
