Scotland beat Northern Ireland to clinch Pinatar Cup title
Scotland women beat Northern Ireland 2-1 to clinch a third successive win and with it the Pinatar Cup title.
Shelley Kerr's side went a goal down after Liverpool midfielder Rachel Furness headed home early on.
But Scotland soon recovered as Erin Cuthbert bagged the equaliser with an impressive 25-yard strike into the top corner.
And the turn around was complete when striker Abbi Grant put Scotland in front before half-time after capitalising on a loose ball.
Northern Ireland finished the tournament bottom after they failed to gain a single point in Mercia.
Scotland capped off a fine campaign following previous victories against Iceland and Ukraine.
Scotland head coach Kerr said: "I'm delighted overall. It's difficult to stay focussed and put in three exceptional performances. They put us under pressure early on in the game but it was a great response.
"They showed great character to bounce back and score two goals, and we ended winning the game quite comfortably. We are disappointed to concede but overall it's been a fantastic week."
The Scots were treating the event as a warm-up ahead of their Euro 2021 qualifiers against Cyprus and Portugal next month.
