Scotland football head coach Shelley Kerr names two uncapped players in 2020 Pinatar Cup squad

Scotland football head coach Shelley Kerr has announced her squad ahead of Spain's 2020 Pinatar Cup next month.

West Ham striker Martha Thomas and Glasgow City midfielder Sam Kerr have been called up to the senior team for the first time.

Tottenham players Emma Mitchell and Hannah Godfrey are set to feature, alongside Manchester City's Caroline Weir and Chelsea's Erin Cuthbert.

Kim Little, Fiona Brown and Lana Clelland have all missed out due to injury. 

Scotland will face Ukraine, Iceland and Northern Ireland.

The national side will use the Pinatar Cup as preparation for their European qualification matches where they currently sit second in their group.

The tournament will be held in Spain at the Pinatar Arena, with Scotland's first match against Ukraine on March 4.

Defenders: Chloe Arthur (Birmingham City), Jen Beattie (Arsenal), Rachel Corsie (Utah Royals), Hannah Godfrey (Tottenham Hotspur), Sophie Howard (Reading), Hayley Lauder (Glasgow City), Emma Mitchell (Tottenham Hotspur Women*), Kirsty Smith (Manchester United).

Midfielders: Lizzie Arnot (Manchester United), Rachael Boyle (Hibernian), Leanne Crichton (Glasgow City), Lucy Graham (Everton), Sam Kerr (Glasgow City), Christie Murray (Liverpool), Caroline Weir (Manchester City).

Forwards: Erin Cuthbert (Chelsea), Claire Emslie (Melbourne City**), Lisa Evans (Arsenal), Abbi Grant (Birmingham City), Jane Ross (Manchester United), Martha Thomas (West Ham United).
