Sheffield United have signed England U17 international forward Lucy Watson.

The 16 year-old has moved to United from Doncaster Rovers where she made her way into the first team when she was just 15.

The youngster is returning from international duty where she played in two friendly matches against the US.

United manager Carla Ward said: "Lucy's been someone we've been monitoring for a while now. 

"She has huge potential and already is proving a joy to work with."

The length of the contract has not been disclosed.
