Tottenham host Liverpool for the first time ever in the Women's Super League

Tottenham and Liverpool will both be seeking their first victories of the season when they meet at The Hive Stadium this afternoon.

Neither side managed to score on the opening weekend as they both suffered 1-0 defeats against Chelsea and Reading.

It is the first time Spurs will face the Reds in the Women's Super League following their promotion last season.

First for Spurs

It's Tottenham's first ever home match in the top flight this afternoon. Can they make more history with a first ever victory?

Tough one to call?

It was a disappointing start for Liverpool who will have seen a home fixture against Reading as an opportunity to make an early statement.

Spurs showed resolve to stick in the game against Chelsea last weekend, so this one promises to be a tough test for the Reds.
