WATCH: England's Jill Scott interviews Ellen White about her winning goal against Japan

England midfielder Jill Scott has interviewed teammate Ellen White after she scored a late winner against Japan to give the Lionesses their first victory of the SheBelieves Cup.

Phil Neville's side claimed a 1-0 victory over Japan last night, with Scott and White taking part in a social media video the morning after to discuss the striker's crucial goal.

Scott asked White: "What was going through your head in the build up to this wonderful goal?"

White responded: "Obviously delighted to get on the score sheet. It was really good pressure up front, especially off Toni to win the ball high up the pitch.

"I was thinking, 'just the one touch finish, get it as low as possible'."

Scott then asks White if fans are going to see a new celebration compared with her trademark eye-based gesture, to which she said: "Keep your eyes peeled, got to have a bit of evolution and change but I do like this celebration.

"It would be cool to do something a little bit different though."

England will play Spain in their final match of the SheBelieves Cup on Wednesday.
