England's Nikita Parris has been answering fan questions ahead of the Lionesses match against Spain in the SheBelieves Cup this evening.

It was the player's birthday yesterday and the England team commemorated it by getting supporters to send Parris questions to answer via video on their social media channels.

Parris was asked: "What are your personal goals that you are working to achieve?"

She replied: "Ultimately my goal is to be the best. The best women's football player, the best person I can be and the best role model.

"For all the young girls out there who aspire to be like me. I always say don't be like me be better than me and I'll push myself so you'll be better in the future."

England lost their opening match of the SheBelieves Cup 2-0 to the USA, but then followed that up with a 1-0 victory over Japan.

The Lionesses round off their SheBelieves Cup campaign against Spain this evening at 9:15pm GMT.
