WATCH: Manchester United launch video in aid of mental health campaign 'IGNORED'

Manchester United have launched a campaign to encourage people to think about what they say in relation to mental health.

A range of women's and men's players have featured speak in a video telling people to be mindful of the language they use in public.

The campaign is called 'IGNORED' because the impact of the language we use is being ignored.

The video, which is narrated by various players, says: "Let's about mental health. The impact of language we use is being ignored.

"These short words continue a stigma for people living with mental health issues, alienating them, making them feel cut off and alone.

"Think about the words you use. We can all do better."

The club have worked with Heads Up, a mental health campaign that collaborates with the charity Mind and the Football Association.

Man United's women's account tweeted the video with the caption: "As part of our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, the club has launched IGNORED, a new campaign to raise awareness of the importance of talking about mental health. #allredallequal."
