Women's football comes together to pay tribute to Charlton Athletic footballer Lucy Kerr after she loses cancer battle, aged 20

Footballers have been rallying to pay tribute to Charlton Athletic footballer Lucy Kerr after she lost her battle with cancer, aged 20. 

England international and Lyon footballer Alex Greenwood and Chelsea goalkeeper Carly Telford have shared their condolences. 

Manchester United women's manager Casey Stoney wrote: "So very very sad. My Thoughts and love are with Lucy's family and friends"

England international and Atletico Madrid forward Toni Duggan said she was 'heartbroken'. 

Northern Ireland international and Charlton Athletic footballer Ciara Watling posted. 

West Ham United's women's coach Matthew Beard said:

Liverpool and Scotland international Christie Murray sent her condolences. 

England and Arsenal defender Leah Williamson sent:

Charlton are planning a tribute to Kerr at a forthcoming fixture.
