And the two will collide on Sunday at the Academy Stadium in what promises to be a huge occasion in front of an expecting Man City crowd.

Emma Hayes' side will travel to their title rivals hoping to maintain their unbeaten record in the league so far this season.

Meanwhile, Alan Mahon's table toppers have not lost since their defeat to Chelsea more than two months ago, so both are heading into the seismic clash in excellent form.

At the other end of the table, it is also a crucial weekend in the battle to avoid relegation as Bristol City make the journey to the Midlands to take on Birmingham.

Elsewhere, in a pair of mid-table battles, Tottenham travel to the south coast to take on Brighton, while Everton and Manchester United face off at Walton Hall Park.
