WSL round-up: defending champions Arsenal stay top after impressive victory over Reading

It's been another thrilling weekend of football in the Women's Super League with 15 goals scored. Here is a round-up of all the action.

Arsenal remain top-of-the-table after an impressive 3-0 win at Reading. Star forward Vivianne Miedema scored twice for The Gunners with captain Kim Little adding another to seal the victory.

Chelsea earned a 2-1 win over title rivals Manchester City despite City striking first through Caroline Weir in the 59th minute.

Bethany England and Maren Mjelde both scored in the latter stages of the match to ensure the comeback and three points.

It proved to be a good weekend for Manchester United. After the men won yesterday's derby, today was the turn of the women to shine against Everton.

Lauren James (twice) and captain Katie Zelem made it 3-1 for The Red Devils after goalkeeper Mary Earps punched a corner into her own net to give the visitors a second-minute lead. The win moves United into the top four.

Liverpool claimed their second point of the season as they drew 1-1 with West Ham. The Hammers' Adriana Leon scored in the fifth minute but The Reds levelled through Niamh Charles in the second half.

Tottenham Hotspur also won at home with a 1-0 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion. The Seagulls' Victoria Williams scored an own goal in the 57th minute to seal her side's defeat.

Finally, Birmingham City beat Bristol City 2-0 away from home. Abbi Grant and Lucy Whipp were the scorers.
