WSL round-up: Reading complete amazing comeback from 2-0 down to beat West Ham 3-2

The goals continued to flow in today's Women's Super League with 25 being scored from six games.

West Ham looked set to beat Reading convincingly as they were 2-0 up after 65 minutes but Reading made an unbelievable comeback to shock the Hammers with a 3-2 win.

The Royals' Rachel Rowe received a red card three minutes into injury time in the first half but Jade Moore's 83rd minute winner turned the match on its head.

Reading now sit in sixth while West Ham are eighth.

Chelsea blew Birmingham City out of the water with an impressive 6-0 victory for the league leaders. Drew Spence and Bethany England scored two each for The Blues while City could not get their scoring underway.

The London club remain at the top of the table with the Brummies staying second from bottom.

Manchester City also had goal fever, putting five past Bristol City. Pauline Bremer scored two while England's Ellen White was also on the scoresheet - yet another for her new club.

Manchester United beat Brighton and Hove Albion 4-0, leaving Casey Stoney's side firmly placed in the top five.

United's star player this season Lauren James scored once again for her team. The 18-year-old shared the spoils with Leah Galton, who put two away, and captain Katie Zelem.

Tottenham Hotspur followed up last weekend's defeat to Arsenal with another defeat at Everton. The home side secured a 3-1 win capitalising on their momentum after their victory over Liverpool at Anfield last weekend.

Defending champions Arsenal squeaked past Liverpool 1-0, meaning The Reds are yet to win a game in the WSL.
