British racing driver Jamie Chadwick says she is delighted to be back on the track after making her Formula 3 European Championship debut in Italy.

The 22 year-old was driving with the Italian Prema team at the Misano Circuit in Rimini and racing competitively for the first time since she won the inaugural all-female W Series in 2019.

On Saturday she finished in third, behind Denmark's Oliver Rasmussen in first and Finland's Patrik Pasma.

Chadwick then came eighth and sixth in the next two races.

She said: "It is great to be racing again. I'm very pleased to pick up a podium for Rodin and Prema.

“This series provides a lot of close racing, as today demonstrated, and this is perfectly suited to my development curve.”
