Park claims first LPGA Tour title for two years as Britain's Shadoff drops to tenth

South Korean golfer Inbee Park clinched her first LPGA Tour title in two years after winning the Women's Australian Open by three shots.

England's Jodi Ewart Shadoff led midway through the tournament in Adelaide, but struggled on day three as she slipped to tenth overall by the end of the final round.

American Amy Olson managed to close the gap at the top of the leaderboard in the final round, but Park held on despite a one over par finish to the weekend.

The 31 year-old, who has a total of seven majors to her name, has won 20 LPGA Tour titles since turning pro in 2006.

And she is also an Olympic champion having won the gold medal in Rio in 2016.

But she had not triumphed in a Tour event since March 2018 when she claimed the Bank of Hope Founders Cup.

A number of golf tournaments in Thailand, Singapore and China have been cancelled due to the coronavirus, meaning the next opportunity for Park to secure back-to-back LPGA titles will be at the Founders Cup in Phoenix in March.
