England announce EuroHockey Squad

England hockey have named their 18-woman squad ahead of the EuroHockey championships in Antwerp, Belgium.

A victory at the tournament, which starts on the August 16, would ensure qualification for the Tokyo Olympics next year.

Among the 18 is Shona McCallin, who was part of the GB gold medal winning team at the Rio 2016 Olympics. There were doubts over her fitness following a concussion in February 2018 but she has been cleared to play by medical professionals.

Superstar goalkeeper Maddie Hinch returns to international hockey after taking a break at the end of 2018.
