Jockey Bryony Frost has won the opening race at the all-female race card at Southwell racecourse on International Women's Day.

Riding Silent Steps, Frost was first past the post in the Handicap Chase.

There are five other races taking place at the course today.

Southwell have been tweeting about IWD, saying: "All of our female riders and officials ready to go ahead of today’s racing"

Frost won another race with Megan Nicholls and Antonia Peck also picking up victories.
