England stars Lucy Bronze and Alex Greenwood have agreed two-month contract extensions at Lyon.

The defenders’ current contracts expire on June 30 and but they will now both complete the French domestic season in the Division 1 Feminine, after it was suspended in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Bronze, 28 has been at the club since 2017 and has made 48 appearances for the side and Greenwood, 26, signed last summer with the reigning Champions League winners and has made 11 appearances. 

It has not yet been confirmed when league games can resume.

Both players will be able to play in the semi-final of the Coupe de France at the beginning of August and the quarter-finals of the Champions League a few weeks later.
