Miracle that's baffled the medics! WATCH Worcester lock Michael Fatialofa walk just 10 weeks after being paralysed from neck down

Worcester Warriors lock Michael Fatialofa has remarkably taken his first steps just 10 weeks after sustaining a serious neck injury in a match against Saracens at the start of January.

The 27-year-old New Zealander was taken to an intensive care unit and it was established he had spinal contusion.

He then had to have surgery in order to stop the crippling pressure being put on his spinal cord.

After spending two weeks in London at St Mary's Hospital, Fatialofa was moved to the Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Buckinghamshire.

Fatialofa's wife captioned the video: "You're witnessing a miracle that even medical professionals can't explain. They are so shook by his progress given his critical level of injury.

"He was literally paralysed from the neck down just 10 weeks ago and currently spinal cord injuries do not have a clinical cure, but my amazing husband is proof that god is never limited to human wisdom. So so so thankful."
