Britain's Jamie Chadwick continues fine racing form with two podiums at Formula 3 Asian Championship

W Series Champion Jamie Chadwick has continued to impress on the track with two podium finishes in the F3 Asian Championship.

Her performance at the Sepang International Circuit leaves her eighth in the overall standings.

Chadwick, 21, started fifth on the grid in Friday's race, but an early manoeuvre to pass Ukyo Sasahara saw her glide into fourth.

The Brit then battled hard against Nikita Mazepin, eventually finding space as he ran wide and she could slip into third and retain her position through to the finish.

The race was won by Jack Doohan ahead of championship leader Joey Alders who came in second.

After the race Chadwick said: "Obviously earlier on in the race I managed to get passed Ukyo and I just maintained my pace from there.

“It was difficult at the beginning of the race because it was a bit greasy and I thought it was going to get dryer towards the end, so I started battling with Joey but I thought he had a bit more pace so I stopped to save my tyres.

“I then settled into my pace and Joey had a bit more than me at that stage, but I settled into third, so it was a bit of a boring race for me.”

The young Brit followed up Friday's performance with another third place finish on Saturday and now sits eighth in the overall standing as the series reaches its climax in Buriram next weekend.
