Nat Sciver hits unbeaten century as England cruise to victory in second ODI and series win over Pakistan

Natalie Sciver's unbeaten century from just 85 balls helped England storm to a 127 run victory over Pakistan in the second ODI in Malaysia.

The 27-year-old all-rounder put on 146 with Fran Wilson (85* from 49 balls) as the team made 327-4 from their 50 overs.

Captain Heather Knight also contributed a handy number of runs on what was her 100th international cap, making an impressive 86 that included 14 fours, before being run out by Sidra Ameen.

After losing openers Tammy Beaumont and Dani Wyatt cheaply, Sciver and Knight rebuilt by putting on a partnership of 84.

Wicketkeeper Amy Jones managed only 17 before falling lbw to Nida Dar, but Wilson and Sciver saw out the innings to set an impressive target of 327.

In response, Pakistan limped to 200 all out as only captain Bismah Maroof reached a half century.

Knight, Anya Shrubsole, Sarah Glenn and Sophie Ecclestone claimed two wickets a piece to secure the win.

New coach Lisa Keightley was watching on for the first time before she takes over from interim coach Ali Maiden in January and will have been impressed by the dominance shown by her new side.

England now claim the series win with one match still to play on Saturday.
