Former England Netball captain Ama Agbeze is among a number of sporting figures taking part in a motivational workshop for W Series drivers.

The 37-year-old attended the four-day off-track training camp to talk to the full line-up of 20 drivers in the all-female racing series.

Agbeze was there to speak on fitness and culture as well as share her own experiences in order to help drivers make the most out of their careers.

Other notable speakers include Olympic and triple World champion Jessica Ennis-Hill, who is taking the lead on commitment and motivation while current snooker World Seniors Champion, Jimmy White, is leading a precision skill demonstration.

Ennis-Hill said: “I’ve been following the amazing progress of W Series really closely, and totally support their mission to encourage more women into the sport. 

"Performing at the highest level goes beyond pure physical conditioning.

"It’s a perfect alignment of mind and body, and I hope my story will further motivate and inspire these great drivers as they work to reach their full potential.”

The drivers will also study modules around media skill, nutrition, physical fitness, performance culture and psychometrics.
