Top eight netball teams go toe-to-toe in Fast5 tournament before sell-out crowd

Britain's Fast5 Netball All-Star championships has sold out ahead of the event on Saturday at the Copper Box Arena. 

Wasps netball go into the tournament as reigning champions and will be up against Severn Stars in the first round.

The tournament will see the top eight teams battle it out for the title ahead of their Vitality Superleague season starting in February 2020. 

The format is 5-a side with 12-minute long matches, along with unlimited rotating substitutions. 

Matchroom Sport Chairman Barry Hearn said: "The British Fast5 Netball All-Stars Championship is already established as one of the most electrifying days in the domestic calendar."

Former CEO of England Netball Joanna Adams added: "There’s always such a buzz as our fans can watch their favourite players – both Vitality Netball Superleague and international stars – competing at an iconic venue in one of the most entertaining formats of the game."

The teams joining Wasps and Stars include Manchester Thunder, Team Bath, Loughborough Lightning, Saracens Mavericks, Celtic Dragons and Surrey Storm.
