Castleford and Leeds clash in first televised Women's Super League final

Castleford Tigers and Leeds Rhinos have made it to the final of the Women's Super League after winning their semi-finals at the weekend.

Tigers beat Wigan in a convincing 34-4 victory while the Rhinos narrowly beat St Helens 18-14.

Castleford and Leeds recently met in the Challenge Cup final in July. The Rhinos took the crown that day after winning 16-10.

The final, on October 11, will be the first time a women's rugby league final is televised. Sky Sports have the exclusive rights.

The match will be a battle. Leeds Rhinos are heading to their second final in as many years and will be after revenge after Wigan pipped them to the post last year. Castleford have won the League Leaders Shield this year and only lost one game in the regular season.

The final is being played in St Helens at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
