England rugby's Jess Breach out with injury as side to face Wales is revealed

England rugby's star winger Jess Breach has been ruled out for the remainder of the Six Nations with an ankle injury.

The Red Roses will face Wales in the fourth round of the tournament at The Stoop this weekend but will be without Breach who sustained the injury in training this week.

Sarah McKenna will move to play wing with Emily Scott covering at full-back.

Amy Cokayne is set to make her 50th appearance for England in front of an expected record-breaking attendance as just over 10,000 tickets have been sold.

The current Six Nations crowd record is 10,545 set by England when they played Italy last year.

Emily Scarratt will captain the side as Sarah Hunter has been moved to the bench.

Head coach Simon Middleton said: "Firstly, we are really disappointed and upset to lose Jess for our final two games. She’s an integral player for us and we all wish her a speedy recovery.

“England against Wales in any sport is an iconic fixture and we are very much looking forward to the game.

“There’s been a fantastic effort across the board in terms of ticket sales and we know the crowd at the Stoop will create a wonderful atmosphere.

“I’d like to give a special mention to Amy Cokayne on her 50th cap. For someone so young to reach this milestone is an incredible achievement.

“Saturday will be a very special moment and one she deserves to enjoy.”
